Pillar Magazine: The Ultimate Construction, Architecture and Design Magazine

Talk about having a magazine which combines all the elements of building your dream house from the architectural design, to the construction and to the interior makings of your house.  Well, the long wait is over because PILLAR MAGAZINE is here.  I had the privilege to see the maiden issue of Pillar and I was impressed.

Pillar Magazine is the first magazine which offers these three ingredients in an ideal architectural magazine.  Besides the usual articles it also offers some practical tips on how to do simple things at home and on how to solve simple problems so that you can save money on repairs.

One of the most commendable features and policy of Pillar Magazine as well is its commitment to sustainable development particularly on green engineering.  Green engineering refers to a way to develop new houses based on energy efficiency and nature friendly considerations.

Pages dedicated to green solutions almost consist of six or more pages and it is equally highlighted in other areas of the magazine/  This feature is not only highlighted by an article but also by accompanying photos.

The magazine is also envisioned to be a premier medium of communication in the Philippine construction industry and related services both in print, and electronic media.  Its mission is to inform, to educate, and to entertain readers of all walks of life and break new boundaries.

Rammil "Bong" Casten servers as the Editor in Chief of Pillar Magazine.  For those who want to subscribe, you can avail of a 3-month subscription for only P399 and a 1-year subscription for only P710.  You can also drop by the Pillar office at 1835 E. Rodriguez Sr., Avenue Cubao, Quezon City.
