Is JRS Express the worst delivery service in the Philippines?

Is JRS Express the worst delivery service in the Philippines?  Most people would think twice before going for JRS not just this time but way back 10 years ago, I already heard about that.  To most online sellers however, JRS is one of the inexpensive alternative to other couriers specially if you are on a budget, however with our recent reports we are really critical on the quality of their service.

The Problem with JRS Express


A friend of mine ordered something online and the seller used JRS to deliver the item.  The item should have arrive in at least 2-3 days but there was no update on the item even after 4 days.  My friend decided to call the JRS hotline and what was surprising is that she was informed that the messenger is "absent" thus the package cannot be delivered.

"Ma'am we're very sorry po sa delay, as of JRS courier absent daw po yung messenger sa area niyo po kaya hindi po naideliver, wait niyo po today until tomorrow po yung package po. again sorry po. (Ma'am we are very sorry for the delay as one of our Messengers in your area is absent that is why they cannot deliver.  Please wait for the package either today or tomorrow.  Again, our apologies"

So if a messenger is absent they cannot deliver the package?  Well, I think so since who else would deliver it.  Maybe the messenger had been sick for quite sometime that is why the packages cannot be delivered.  But come on... this is not the yesteryears because customer service is number one priority nowadays.

Update: The wig had been delivered.  Thanks to calling them and the magic of persistence otherwise you will wait a longer time.

Other Complaints About JRS Express


This is not the only incident about JRS Express, another reliable fellow blogger informed us that JRS lost their package last year and she was not able to know it until they personally asked.  JRS eventually paid for the lost item but the hassle and attempt to conceal it is already there.

Still another blogger went through the same experience where one pakcage was eventually lost and another one was not delivered because it got lost in their stock files.

This was a very disturbing precedent of JRS Express and we are wondering if there are more cases like this.  If you have a bad experience with JRS Express then let us know by adding your comment in this article.

  1. Same goes with me. I keep on asking help on their customer service via facebook and email, but I got no useful reply. They are really the worst delivery service. Thinking that we are also doing our business as an online seller, trusted their as the carrier for the so call "EXPRESS" on their name, but look, it's been a week and I still haven't receive my parcel and no help from their customer support at all.

  2. worst ever! i ordered also not under my name.i just asked a friend to be the reciever, to be delivered in dumaguete (visayas) .the tracking site says already pick up at the escolta january 8 2018.... now already january 18 , still nothing!! no updates! seller says delivery takes only 2-3days!!!!

  4. Worst ever, they website said out for delivery and it has been two days and still not delivered. The best way to combat them is to ask the seller the name of the shipping company and if they say JRS, take you business elsewhere. That way companies will quit using them.

Patanggal nalng din nila linya ng telepono.useless din nman di sinasagot kapag tinatawagan.The fourth time tatawagan nka-hang na.And yong "tracking" churva,before pala ako tatawag sa kanila tina-track ko muna.So sa result,nasa gensan na March 23,2018 , 1:50:36 pm.Tumawag ako sa kanila March 24,ang sabi wla pa dw sa gensan,d pa dw napadala nong sender????pano 'ko magkaka tracking/receipt # kung d pa napadala ng sender������last part d pala pinirmahan nong kung sinong nakaassign bago umuwi nong nakaraang araw.Hindi lng yan isang beses ngyari ha.grabeh cla.

  7. I agreed to this review.. Jusko..2 beses palang ako gumamit nito pero dalawang beses nanila ako pinapahirapan.. Pick up or door to door ..walang mapili.. Nsayang oras at pera q.. Wala lng kasi akong choice kasi ung dalawang taong binilhan ko ng item wala daw na lbc na malapit... Kaya bagsak eh jrs.. Maigi pa ang fasttrack...lbc worked for me kasi medyo may kamahal ang shipping cost nila.. Atleast pag pickup q sa market2x alam ko na nandun item q.. Halata naman sguro ung badtrip q sa comment q.. Ahahahhagag

Meron po akong kaibigan na yong kaibigan nya nagpadala ng certificate from province eh, certificate lang ang pinadala at sobrang urgent po daw ang kaso henold daw at meron daw latest issue sila ng JRS so ngaun kailangan na kailangan na talaga sino po pa ang may pag kukulang dito sa mga ganitong issue, bakit d nlang ideliver ang dapat ideliver nag bayad naman ung sender BAKIT ang hirap nyong makarecover sa ganon sitwasyon.
    Negosyo nyo yan dapat hindi kau nag papadelay ng client nyo. 2-3 days umabot ng 2weeks sana nalang ng LBC nlang sila para madali at 1 day lang.

  9. In my case, my item should be pickup only but they delivered it and worst to my neighborhood whom I dont know who among them... bopols talaga sana if walang nagreceive iniwan sa branch and should text na for pickup na lang

  11. In my case, Monday pinadala thru JRS then arrived in our province next day. So i expect na marereceive ko ng Wednesday. But Saturday na today, wala pang update. Everyday ko chinecheck online. Same with lbc na din, nagtext pa sila at nag-update online na mag expect ako ng delivery pero 2mins pa lang may "We tried to deliver your shipment but house was closed and no one was there..." agad na post. Kalokohan. E inabangan ko pa nga. Hindi rin naman tumawag/text yung messenger kung hindi nya mahanap ang house#.

  13. My order was supposed to arrive within 2-3 days as per everyone else here. It did arrive, just really far away from my location (Laguna), for the love of me, some God forsaken reason, it ended up in Calaoocan. They contacted me to confirm my address, that's when I found out it traveled further than me. If I knew they were this bad, I would've just picked the package up myself and avoid using a courier. Calaoocan branch informed me that they'll return it and have it prioritized when it reaches the Laguna branch, they also gave me the branch's contact number, I tried talking to their customer service, and I felt like I'd have a better conversation with a goldfish. All they kept insisting was the delivery was to be expected today, which I doubt cuz I've asked numerous times on where did my package is at the moment, the entire duration of the call, I never got an answer for that. I think I can assume the package is traveling the country or it's lost already. Just getting a package from point A to point B.... JRS if you're reading this, double check your addresses..... I'm amazed they're still standing as a business, especially with so many screw ups. This is utterly unacceptable!

  14. I agree! Worst delivery service. In my case I ordered from an online shop and the seller immediately shipped the item. Ive waited for 3 days already and up until now my package hasnt arrived yet. The tracker wasnt even helpful at all. Bulok na serbisyo! False advertisement.

  15. same here, friday or saturday dpat idedeliver. the messenger of jrs just called and told me that he will deliver my parcel that time but he didn't come and he didn't even inform me. yes it's raining, i understand why he didn't deliver my parcel, but to think that monday passed by and somehow my time is wasted. what they were gonna say? is it the same that because of the absence of the messenger, my parcel wouldn't be in my hands on time? dapat may alternative messenger sila, na kung wala man yung isa may kapalit. maraming nagsasuffer lalo na yung mga nagrereseller. sana maayos po. huhuhuhu

  16. Hi guys! what is the best courier in the philippines because I have been searching on different couriers already but most of them like xend, jrs express, lbc, abest, and fast track has terrible reviews on their facebook page?

    1. I have tried XPost. Though I didnt bother reading reviews about them so I have untainted views on said courier. They ship quickly and are easy to contact.

  17. Worst talaga JRS it happened to me twice na and as in super delay. Pinadala ng friend ko ang package last June 26 which I expect 3-4 days sabi ng Customer Service nila. Up until now wala parin, ni wala maka pag sabi nasaan ang package at tagal mag reply. No sense or urgency. Ang hassle. Nag brobrowse lang ako online nag hahanap ng pweding e kaso sa kanila or like pwd mag complain. Tulad sa America may BBB at FCC websites. Pero wala ata sa Pinas.

  18. JRS has the worst service ever. If you're doing business using this courier masisira lang kayo sa customers nyo. Walang sumasagot sa hotlines, bulok ang tracking sa website. Lalo na pag nasa Marilao branch jrs na wala talaga sumasagot. busy or naka off ang line. Gusto ko itrack ung item ko for 2 days na nakafor delivery sa website pero wala pa rin sa receiver. Ang saya. :-)

For your attention please ngpadala po ako nng parcel last monday july 16,2018, to Robelyn Flores Iloilo Branch with tracking #219001 BC 471 na disappointed LNG po ako sa service as of July 24 2018 di pa din daw nkuha nng receiver ko. tumawag po xa jm basa branch iloilo city sabi nng personnel send back na daw yun status nng pinadala ko. Send back agad agad 7days pa lng nkalipas.

  24. JRS sucks. They advised me that a messenger went to my home and said that our house is closed and no one is there. This joke of a company trying to lie. To verify I had checked with our subdivision guard house and there was no log of JRS coming in to our subdivision. PS since I have a baby girl at home her grandma and my brother in law are staying at home so it is quite impossible that our house is closed. When I called them they say that their messenger does not have a phone and they cannot contact me. I never had this experience with LBC. So let me say JRS sucks Joke Retarded Service they should change their name to that.

  28. still waiting for you to come home ���� north luzon to north luzon lang yan hanggang ngayon wala p din, kahit icheck pa sa tracking blahbblah nila, wala. din update. 5days na ngayon, ung sender kala receive ko na. kaya pupuntahan nya office para magtanong . WALANG EXPRESS SA JRS.

  29. The sender send the receipt pero nun itratract ko na un parcel bakit delivery not encoded???paano nangyari yun 3days na wala parin ang parcel?😥
