Hanbok St. Food Bistro Opens at SM City San Jose del Monte

Formerly known as the Korea Gangnam Buffet, Hanbok St. Food Bistro is now serving its customers with more choices of different Asian specialties and street foods served in a modest setting.

The now Asian restaurant reinvents its menu with new entries from serving only Korean and Filipino dishes to a wide variety of our favorites adding Vietnamese and Japanese food.

According to one of their supervisors, Ms. Carla Fajardo, aside from the colorful traditional Korean clothing, Hanbok, the name and concept of the restaurant is from a street of food stalls in Seoul, South Korea where you can find a lot of street foods like Odeng, Kimbap and Spicy Tofu which are also served in Hanbok St. Food Bistro. Adding other Asian street foods in their menu makes them exceptional from other Asian restaurants like our very own kwek kwek, Adidas, and chicken and pork isaw.

The Hanbok Valenciana is among their specialties along with Jjampong and Bibimbap that are also their bestsellers. Beef Teriyaki, Beef Misomo, Pork Stew Ramen, Tofu Steak, Pork Katsudon and Yakisoba are among their Japanese main courses; Chicken and Fish Kaz, Kimchi Fried Rice, Japchae and Bulgogi and among their Korean main courses; and Pho Ga, Pho Bo and Laksa for the Vietnamese cuisine.

“We wanted to bring the Asian cuisine to San Joseños, and we want them to taste street foods that is out of the street but with the glance of the picturesque blue and green lagoon of the mall where the restaurant is nearly located.” Luigi Rosell believed, also one of the supervisors.

Hanbok St. Food Bistro envisions to serve affordable high quality Asian Cuisine to every Filipino through world class customer service.

Taste your favorite Asian street foods inside the mall only at SM City San Jose del Monte. Hanbok St. Food Bistro is located at the lower ground floor near the mall atrium and the mall view deck.
