Since I live far away from the south, I took the time to visit one of my favorite Filipino cuisine branch at Cabalen Alabang Town Center. It is the usual setup of a Cabalen Restaurant but our experience here is quite different.
What's Different with Cabalen Alabang Town Center
Perhaps I would say that the best experience we have so far among all the Cabalen Restaurant we visited is at their SM City Baliwag Branch - superb customer experience, cleanliness, courtesy and on-time food serving.
Here are some observations which we made during our visit:
- The branch is gloomy. Coloring, lights and even the atmosphere is a bit gloomy. It should at least have a sense of feeling that you are welcome and you will love to eat a buffet but for some reason, it lacks that.
- Food Preparation. The preparation of food is not very good. Whenever the food serving gets empty the replenishment takes a while. There was even one customer complaining about the food they got and after which the dish was immediately removed from the menu.
Overall Rating
Although this branch is not as good as the other, I would say that the food is still great. I always enjoy eating at Cabalen Restaurant because of their Kare-Kare and other authentic Filipino dishes.
I am giving the Cabalen Alabang Town Center a RATING OF 3.0/5.0.
