It is a relieving sight to see Buddy's in Metro Manila. I am from Quezon Province and I know them quite well. In the province if you are in Lucena City and you are craving for Pizza then you should buy from them. I would like to share our Manila Food Review of Buddy's Cubao right across Araneta Coliseum and Novotel Manila Araneta Center.
Buddy's Cubao Araneta Center: The Venue
The venue is completely Pinoy and Quezonian. You can see the native scenes of Quezon as well as the feel of Pahiyas Festival in their restaurant design. Wooden tables and chairs will welcome you and the feel of pinoy fiesta.
It is all Filipino - paintings, table setting, food preparation, lightning and all. If you have foreigner friends or balikbayan friends then you should not miss the chance to bring them here.
Buddy's Cubao Araneta Center: The Food
Pancit Lucban (Php200.00). This one is good for 2-3 persons already. With all the ingredients, the good taste and the authentic native pancit flavoring this is already affordable. There are lots of ingredients and it is seldom that you will see a good pancit with not the usual taste.
Pork Chop BBQ 1 pc (Php100,00). A very tasty and crispy pork chop than comes with rice already. Considering that you are eating in a specialized restaurant the price is really affordable. As for the taste well it is your native bbq taste, very crunchy and yummy.
Longsilog Lucban (Php120.00). A combination of longganisang Lucban, egg, fried rice and atsara. I really like this a lot. The Lucban version of longganisa is very tasty and has a different feel to it. They are a bit smaller but tastier for me. I also like their atsara, I hope they add more.
Crispy Buntot ng Tanigue (Php225.00). Who would expect 3 large Tanigue fish tails for just this price. They are also very tasty and very crunchy. I though that it would be expensive but at that price it is the mist affordable I had seen.
Buddy's Cubao Araneta Center: The Verdict and Rating = 5.0/5.0
I am personally giving Buddy's Araneta Center Cubao a rating of 5/5. They have a very kind staff, good food, accessible restaurant, affordable menu and a very good ambiance. I highly recommend that you visit this place.
