PROMO CONCEPT:
“Like” the Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines Facebook Fan Page and e-mail a photograph capturing, “Why your pet is your passion” to [email protected].
Along with the photograph, submit a short one (1) sentence caption explaining “Why your pet is your passion”. For example: “My pet dog [Buster] is my passion because he’s the most excited in the house to see me every time I go home.”
Ten (10) cat entries and ten (10) dog entries will get a chance to win one (1) year supply of pet food. Winning entries will be based on the following criteria

HOW TO JOIN:
1. “Like” the Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines Facebook Fan Page.
2. E-mail a photo of you and your pet dog or cat capturing, “Why your pet is your passion” to [email protected]. Along with the photo, submit a short one (1) sentence caption explaining “Why your pet is your passion”. For example: “My pet dog [Buster] is my passion because he’s the most excited in the house to see me every time I go home.”

3. Deadline of submission of entries is August 29, 2010.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1. Submit your complete entry as well as the information below to: [email protected]
- Full name of contestant
- Date of Birth
- Complete address
- Contact Number (s)
- Valid email address
- Link to Facebook Profile
2. By submitting an entry, the contestant attests that he or she has read the full mechanics and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of this promotion
3. A contestant can only submit one (1) photo with accompanying one (1) sentence caption. Users may submit as many entries as desired, but may only win once. Both the photo and the accompanying one (1) sentence caption must be qualified.
4. The person in the photo must also be the person submitting the entry
5. The photos and the captions must meet all of the following minimum requirements:
a. The photo caption must not exceed one (1) sentence
b. The photo (s) must not exceed 2MB in file size;
c. No other product (except Purina) must be featured in the photo
d. The photos should be clear and contain wholesome images
6. Within 48 hours from receipt of the email of the contestant, the website administrator, shall send the contestant an electronic data message (eDM) informing them the contestant if he or she is qualified to join or not and whether his or her entry/s meet the minimum requirements for participating in the promotion or not. The decision of Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines and the website administrator on this regard shall be final.
7. Qualified entries will be posted in the ‘My Pet Dog, My Passion’ and ‘My Pet Cat, My Passion’ photo albums on the Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines Facebook Fan Page.
8. Contestants with qualified entries may “share” their submission on Facebook as soon as the same is/are approved. Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines reserves the right to disqualify an entry, refuse the publication of and/or remove an entry in the Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines Facebook Fan Page as it deems fit and just and its decision on the matter is final.
HOW TO WIN:
1. The top twenty (20) photographs (10 dog entries and 10 cat entries) with a high quality creative entry will be given one (1) year supply of pet food.
2. Contestants with qualified entries shall be responsible for promoting their entries on Facebook. In doing so, he or she expressly agree that he or she is allowing himself or herself to be a subject matter of varying comments, views and opinions of people, which may be expressed or relayed not just in the Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines Facebook Fan Page, but in other ways and medium, including but not limited to blogs. Accordingly, he or she undertakes not to hold responsible Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines and the third party contractors running this promotion for the same.
3. The Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines Facebook Fan Page is provided on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis and Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines gives no warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise including warranties or representations that materials found on the links therein, including those provided by the contestants will be complete, accurate, reliable, timely, non-infringing to third parties; that access to the links found therein, including those provided by the contestants will be uninterrupted or error-free; that the links found therein, including those provided by the contestants will be secure; that any advice or opinion obtained from links found therein, including those provided by the contestants, is accurate or to be relied upon and any representations or warranties thereto are expressly disclaimed.
4. For disqualified entries, an e-mail notification will be sent informing them of such disqualification and the basis thereof. Despite the disqualification, the registrant may still submit a new entry or a modified one provided that he/she submits the same before the deadline for submission of entries.
5. On September 6, 2010 at 3pm, a panel of judges shall select twenty (20) winners from the submitted entries based on the following criteria:

6. The top twenty (20) entries chosen by the panel of judges shall be subjected to verification. By verification, website administrator will contact the winner via telephone (landline or mobile) to verify whether he/she joined the contest. If he/she replied in the affirmative within 24 hours from first attempt to contact him or her, website administrator shall inform him/her that the entry he/she submitted won. If he/she replied in the negative within 24 hours from first attempt to contact him or her, website administrator shall move on to the next contestant whose entry was selected by the judges. If website administrator cannot reach the contestant through the contact numbers he or she provided within 24 hours from first attempt to contact him or her, website administrator shall move on to the next contestant with a winning entry. Website administrator shall proceed with the verification until such time that it verifies twenty (20) winning entries.
7. All prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash.
PROCEDURE IN THE NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS:
1. Winners will be contacted using their respective submitted information. Winners will have to pick up their prizes at selected pick-up points. Winners must present at least two valid identification cards and a print out of the email notification. If he/she has authorized a representative to receive his or her prize on his/her behalf, the authorized representative must present the two valid IDs, the winner’s valid ID and a print out of the email notification before the item is released to the authorized representative.
PRIZES AT STAKE:
1. Twenty (20) one (1) year supply of pet food (dog or cat) for the top twenty (20) winners, ten (10) dogs and ten (10) winners cats.
2. 1 year supply of dog food constitutes to 144 kilos and 1 year supply of cat food constitutes to 18 kilos. These quantities are based on an average sized dog/cat’s eating consumption.
OTHER GUIDELINES:
1. Any stage of the promotion, Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines reserves the right to disqualify contestants who fail to qualify with the above mentioned requirements.
2. Any stage of the promotion, Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines reserves the right to change/alter/edit the rules of the campaign, depending on user behavior and by popular demand.
3. Any stage of the promotion, Nestlé Purina Petcare Philippines has final decision on everything.
