Jollibee Promotion Scam

Have you received a message in your Facebook Messenger about a link for a Jollibee Super Meal promotion?  If you do and you happen to click on it then immediately change your Facebook account password, as well as for your GCash or Paymaya.

Jollibee Promotion "Jollibee Spinwheelmania" Phishing Scam

A message which seems to appear like a Jollibee Messenger ad is currently circulating although the link may already had been flagged by Facebook.  Upon clicking the link it will tell the user about the remaining numnber of free meals left.

In order to receive a free meal, the user need to share the link until the bar fills up.  Clicking on the share button and allowing the bar to fill up seems to lead a user into spamming their contacts on Messenger with the link.

Reports of Phishing

There were reports of the link trying to connect to both GCash and Paymaya, so users are advised to immediately change their password.

 As a word of caution, BEFORE CLICKING A LINK PLEASE CHECK THE URL AND CHECK THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS.
