Manila Food Review: Karate Kid Famers Plaza

It is our first time to visit and eat at Karate Kit.  This time we are on a hurry and we decided to get our Japanese fix at Karate Kid Farmers Plaza.  Here is our review of their Kumpleto Meals and the venue.

Karate Kid venue

The ambiance of Karate Kid Farmers Plaza was the same as any regular fastfood that you will see.  Personally there is nothing unique in this venue.  It has no special feel nor design to it.  If you want to get immediate Japanese food then this is one of the place you could visit.

Beef Teriyaki Bento

Their Kumpleto Meals includes Beef Teriyaki Bento priced at Php189.   This comes with Miso Soup, Onion Rings, noodles and Takoyaki.  Of all the inclusions the only food that we enjoyed is the Takoyaki.  The sauce and the Takoyaki itself is made pretty good.

As for the other elements of the Bento it was really bland.  The beef teriyaki was very ordinary, the miso soup was bland, the noodles lacks taste while the onion rings is just as plain as it can be.  Now having to pay Php189 for a food like this seems to be overpriced.  I would prefer to eat at a more authentic Japanese restaurant thant dine in here.

Verdict of Karate Kid Farmers Plaza

We are not sure if all menu here like the Beef Teriyaki Bento is as bland as it can be and we hope not.  We have heard a lot about Karate Kid both good and bad.  This time however our taste buds seems to say that improvement needs to be done.

We are giving this restaurant 2.5/5 score.

Tell us your experience at Karate Kid Farmers Plaza Cubao because we would like to know it.  If we are wrong then tell us too.
