This is the first time that I will actually experience using an ASUS netbook and I really took notice of most of the details of the product. I received the ASUS Eee PC T101MT in exchange for 525 worth of points as an ASUS XPC (Xtreme Power Club) member. 525 points is equivalent to a total of about 60 articles I have written about product reviews and press releases regarding ASUS.
I have no trouble writing about ASUS because the quality of their products are indeed of superior grade. They cater to both the low end and the high end market particularly hardcore gamers. Eee PC is one of the main trademarks of ASUS and a branding which made the company known worldwide.
First off I would like to thank ASUS PHILIPPINES for the opportunity to be part of ASUS XPC, if not for this program I would not have a cool ASUS netbook/Eee PC.
At first I was rather disappointed upon knowing that ASUS Eee PC T101MT is not really a gaming PC. I would prefer a gaming PC over something like this. However, when I finally saw it my view about it greatly changed. I did realize that as someone who writes and do business this netbook is very ideal for me.

It is touch screen, and that is the feature I like the most. IN fact you can use it in product demonstrations and in business meetings. It even comes with its own stylus pen which I just discovered today. Did not notice it at first. You can also rotate the screen of the T101MT 360 degrees and even put it perpendicular to the table.
ASUS Eee PC T101 MT is powered By Intel Atom CPU N450 1.66Ghz processor and comes with a 1Gb RAM. It is also pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter Edition and a 30-day Trial of Trend Micro Anti-virus. The unit also comes with various ASUS related products.
ASUS is so user friendly that the Eee PC T101MT comes with games playable when connected online and my favorite among these features is the ASUS Vibe. ASUS Vibe is an online song search where you can listen to your favorite song even without downloading the song. NOw I can work with music in the background.

I also love the fact that ASUS PC T101MT comes with Bluetooth connectivity. This is one feature that my previous Neo laptop lacks. I always needed bluetooth connection for transferring photos from my phone to my computer. Added to that ois the fact that it also comes with a 4-in-1 card reader.

I also tested the total running time of the ASUS Eee PC T101MT with my standard mode of work, that is internet with Facebook and some music and video. The battery life can last from 3 1/2 hours to abour 4 1/2 hours.
Based on what I experience I can say that I am impressed with the T101MT except for the fact that I am still adjusting to the smaller screen because I am used to a bigger monitor. A very handy netbook which you can bring anywhere.
There are some comments though which I would like to share when it comes to keyboard layout. I have problems with the "HOME" and "DELETE" keys in the chicklet type keyboard of the TT101MT. I am not used to seeing those keys located inline with the function keys. Am sure that soon I will get used to it.
So that's about it and I highly recommend this product for those who want cool features and handy tools. The suggested retail price of the ASUS Eee PC T101MT is 26,900pesos.
